National Junior Honor Society

The requirements for NJHS are:

• Maintaining a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average
• Abiding by the Timbercrest Middle School policies specified in the Rights and Responsibilities Handbook
• Setting a positive example for other students through demonstrating outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, and service
• Members must submit a completed application by March 29, 2024, which includes:
• A three-paragraph essay
• A completed Documentation of Hours form

NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
 

Scholarship, Leadership, Character, and Service are the four pillars of the National Junior Honor Society.

Choose one of these and write a three-paragraph essay explaining how your academics and extra-curricular activities demonstrate that you positively represent this pillar.

Your essay must be submitted through Schoology.

Summer Opportunities

Help to organize Woodinville’s first Oktoberfest (a collaboration of Woodinville Arts Alliance and Woodinville Chamber of Commerce) to raise money for the non-profit Woodinville Arts Alliance. We were hoping that we could get some middle schoolers to help with setting up chairs and tables in the Woodin Creek outdoor area between Brix and Alexandria Nicole from 8-10am on Saturday, Sept. 16 for this event.

2023 TMS Community Serve Day

We are now taking sign ups for Community Serve day, which will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 9:00-1:00! This is a joint effort with Timbercrest, PTSA, and local churches to beautify school grounds. It's a great opportunity to get involved and meet other parents in a non-sectarian, outdoor work environment. Bring your gloves, buckets, mulch shovels, and weed eaters!

Providence offers summer opportunities for young people, such as Camp Prov, a day camp in Everett for children who have special needs, and a High School Summer Volunteer Program.

Members must consistently show exemplary behavior on campus and be a positive role model for other Timbercrest students throughout the year. You must demonstrate high standards of Character, Scholarship, Leadership and Service, abiding by all policies specified in the Timbercrest Middle School Rights and Responsibilities Handbook.
